Église du Gésu

L’église du Gesù (Jésus en italien) est un trésor au cœur du centre-ville de Montréal. Elle tient son nom d’une église de Rome où fût enterré Saint Ignace de Loyola, fondateur des Jésuites. Construite en 1865 par l’architecte irlandais, Patrick C. Keeley, elle est une des plus anciennes églises de Montréal. Elle est reconnue comme « Immeuble Patrimonial Classé ».

Holy Cross Church

Originally built in 1852 on the Wikwemikong Native Reserve, Holy Cross is the oldest Catholic Church in Northern Ontario. Holy Cross Mission and the Wikwemikong Reserve are located on Manitoulin Island, where the first Jesuit and European, Fr. Joseph Poncet, SJ, set foot in 1648. He was the last Jesuit to minister on the island until 1845, when the Jesuits returned and have continued their Native ministry since.

Holy Rosary Parish

Holy Rosary Parish was first established as a mission church to the Basilica of Our Lady Immaculate. It was administered by the Spiritans until the year 2000. It is now under the administration of the Canadian Jesuits. As a Jesuit parish, it strives to find God in all things.

Martyrs’ Shrine

The Martyrs’ Shrine is the National Shrine to the Canadian Martyrs. The Shrine honours the eight Jesuit Saints who lived, worked, and died here over 350 years ago.

University of British Columbia Campus Ministry

UBC Campus Ministry provides a safe environment for students who wish to further their spiritual journey. Confidential spiritual and personal counselling are available, as well as the opportunity to discuss faith issues in various discussion forums. Students do not have to be Roman Catholic to use the services of the Campus Ministry and to attend their events.
